Benton Middle School, located in Manassas, Va., is a part of the Prince William County Public Schools. It offers classes to students in grades six through eight, and has an enrollment of more than 1,100 students and serves the elementary feeder school schools in the county, Ashland, Coles, Marshall, Pattie and Signal Hill. It addresses the needs of students during the transition between elementary and high school using a personalized approach. The school provides a comprehensive educational program, including core subjects, such as mathematics, language arts, social studies and science. Additionally, other courses are offered, which include art, music, computer, guidance, health and physical education. All students are invited to take part in the school newspaper and student council. Benton Middle School offers a variety of sports, including football, basketball, track and cheerleading.
