Kalamazoo Central High School is a four-year high school that enrolls more than 1,000 students. It has several academic departments, such as art, business, family and consumer science, life management, music, physical education and special education. The school also offers accelerated courses in chemistry, computer science, English, French, German, Latin, Spanish, mathematics and physics. The academic facility employs more than 80 teachers and nearly five counselors. The staff also includes a counseling consultant, psychologist, student assistance specialist, attendance interventionist and librarian. Kalamazoo Central High School has several athletic activities, including baseball, basketball, football, golf, hockey, soccer, softball, swimming, tennis, volleyball and wrestling. The school has its campus in Kalamazoo, Mich.
