Since 2005 Shaylee has been working with chemically and electrically sensitive individuals to improve their health through the home environment by providing environmental inspections, eco-consultations and "Green Certifications" and consultations for new construction or remodeling projects. Her training includes the International Institute for Bau-Biology & Ecology, Certified Radon Mitigation and the MN State University Mankato Sustainable & Energy Efficient Building program. She is also a MN Green Star Trained Professional and committee member.
Shaylee has been a guest speaker and trainer for places like Coldwell Banker, Century College, Life Unlimited II, the Minnesota State Fair and more. She has written numerous articles for magazines and online venues, some of which include the Parade of Homes - Fall Showcase 2010, Builder News, Green and Save, Edge Life Magazine, and others.
