Utility Data System is a software development and consulting firm, providing custom and packaged software solutions for public and private utilities, municipal courts, telecommunication companies and other private entities. The company offers three primary systems: utility billing, municipal court records and telecommunications-polling telephone switches. More than 350 customers utilize the utility billing software, which equates to nearly 750,000 bills per month. Utility Data System is installed in approximately 80 municipal courts, processing nearly 70,000 traffic tickets and other violations each month. The telephone-polling switches provide private telecommunications companies the ability to receive telephone call records and facilitate the production of bills. Utility Data Systems became incorporated in 1990 and is a daughter company of Utility Computing Service.
