A-1 Sign has been in business since 1979 when owner Charles Labor started producing signs out of his home on Chippewa Avenue in South St. Louis. As business grew so did the need for space, so in 1982 the business moved from South St. Louis to its current location at the corner of Russell Boulevard and Gravois in Soulard. Since then, A-1 Sign has continued to grow with the industry to provide our customers with the most up-to-date technology available. We are a full-service custom sign shop that can handle any job, no matter how big or small. And our employees, who average 18 years of experience, are committed to meeting your needs. Charles Labor passed away in 2010, but his passion for signs and his business lives on through our continued commitment to the industry, the business he built, and our customers.
