Adanta is a community-based behavioral health care company that provides mental health and retardation services. It also provides services for people with developmental disabilities and chemical dependencies. The company offers prevention, training and treatment services in more than eight counties of the Lake Cumberland area in Kentucky. Adanta operates human development services and clinical services divisions, as well as the Regional Prevention Center. In addition, it provides adult mental health, alcohol and drug abuse treatment, and child and family services. The company also offers group, family and individual therapies, as well as psychological testing and psychiatric evaluation services.
