The Adult Career Development Center serves students aged 16 and above. It offers a range of career counseling services. The center provides classes in social studies, math, language arts, science, and health and physical education. The Adult Career Development Center administers the English for Speakers of Other Languages program. It works in collaboration with the Richmond Redevelopment & Housing Authority, Black History Museum, and Capital One. The center offers the General Educational Development preparatory program, which includes instruction in writing and reading skills development. The Adult Career Development Center also provides courses in small business management, business communication and computer literacy. The center is a part of Richmond Public Schools, which governs several educational institutions.
