AFLC Schools are under the Association of Free Lutheran Congregations. The school corporation consists of 50 members from AFLC and has a board of trustees who are responsible for governing the two schools, including the theological seminary and the Bible school. The seminary, established in 1964, offers a three-year academic program for the training of parish pastors and a one-year internship. The seminary maintains a core curriculum which gives its graduates a detailed study of the Bible, theology, church history, Christian ethics and the skills necessary for preaching, pastoral and missionary services, evangelism, worship and Christian education. The school corporation s Bible school provides a two-year course of study in the Bible and related subjects for high school graduates. Both the schools share the campus in Plymouth, Minn., with the AFLC headquarters.
