Additionally, it is engaged in the creation of demand for food products in the foreign and domestic markets. The division offers product promotion and business counseling services. The Market Development Division is a part of the Office of Marketing & Agricultural Economic Development, which promotes the growth of markets for Louisiana food and agricultural products. The office consists of agricultural economic development, market news, and special events and dairy promotion divisions.
