Amberly Elementary School serves more than 550 students for prekindergarten through five grades. It has more than 40 faculty members and is part of the Portage Public Schools. The school s staffs include reading consultants, special education teachers, media specialists and guidance counselors. Amberly Elementary School has various organizations that include site based decision making team, safety patrol and student council. Its curriculum includes instruction in art, music, physical education and computer. The school host several recreation programs, including orchestra party, rhythm and poetry and chorus. Additionally, it offers classes in science, language arts and mathematics. Its sports programs include cheerleading, football, soccer and softball.
