For over 20 years main Bakersfield residents trusted ARAC Inc dba American Air Heating Refrigeration. Unfortunately the former owners developed health issues which lead to some unknown expenses in their life so in March of 2012 they filed for bankruptcy protection & closed the doors.
The company was not sold to anyone.
However my wife and I (RJ and Laura Allen) petitioned the bankruptcy judge to sell us the phone number, web site, some office equipment, and the maintenance agreement clients.
We did NOT buy the company. Just a few of the assets.
In April of 2012 we opened All American Air. We wanted to keep a name that was familiar to the community. Unfortunately, many folks didn't understand the above statement and there has been too much confusion with the name. Many people think I took over the company or bought the company.
So we have recently changed the name of the company to American Dream Services Heating and Cooling. This will separate us from the "Air" in the name without getting rid of something we have a great deal of pride in...being...American and now having the "American Dream" ourselves.
