American College of the Building Arts, founded in 1998, educates and trains artisans in the traditional building arts to encourage preservation and enrichment of United States architectural heritage. The college has a library and a bookstore that offers apparel and gifts. It has received its accreditation from the South Carolina Commission on Higher Education.
