Founded in 2001, The American Constitution Society for Law and Policy is one of the leading progressive legal organizations in the United States. Based in Washington, D.C. it is a rapidly growing network of lawyers, law students, scholars, judges, policymakers and other concerned individuals. The organization conducts public programs, publications and active on-line presence for molding legal and public policy issues. The American Constitution Society for Law and Policy has a network that covers 175 student chapters in law schools across 47 states, 31 lawyer chapters in large and small cities all over the world and over 16,000 paying members and other supporters.
