The American Paint Horse Association is a nonprofit membership organization incorporated under the laws of Texas. The association was formed in 1962 to collect, record and preserve the pedigree of Paint Horses. In addition, the Association is responsible for promoting and disseminating knowledge and information related to the Paint Horse breed.
