American Plating Company, founded in 1961, is a provider of plating and metal coating products and services for the plating and coating industry. The company implements the Kanigen process for depositing a uniform, hard, corrosion and abrasion-resistant nickel alloy coating on iron, copper, aluminum, titanium and alloys, without using electricity. It is an exclusive Kanigen licensee for Arkansas, Kansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Oklahoma and Texas. American Plating Company also uses Xylan 1010 and 8100 series of industrial fluoro-polymer coating that offers total compliance with Food and Drug Administration requirements for coatings that come in contact with food. The company is ISO 9001:2000 certified and its office and manufacturing plant is located in Houston.
