San Diego Family Care is a nonprofit corporation that provides a range of health care services to the area community. The services include adult medicine, children s health, reproductive health care and mental health care. Adult care includes immunizations, diabetes care, gynecological services and ancillary services, including laboratory, pulmonary treatment and audiology services. The children s health services include child and adolescent psychology, radiology and pediatrics for newborns. Additionally, it provides walk-in immunization clinics for children. The mental health department offers psychological and psychiatric services in English, Spanish, Vietnamese, Hmong, Laotian, Italian, French, German and Portuguese. It has a clinical staff of psychiatrists, psychologists, license clinical social workers and translators. San Diego Family Care is the corporate name of the former Linda Vista Health Care Center and Mid-City Community Clinic. The health center is located in San Diego.
