Mellon Middle School serves students in grades six through eight. Its academic curriculum includes various subjects, such as language arts, mathematics, science and social studies. The school additionally offers classes in technology applications and health and physical education. Mellon Middle School has a guidance department that provides counseling services to students. Its athletics department offers a variety of sports activities, such as cross country, basketball, hockey, lacrosse, volleyball and football. The school has a library that stocks books, magazines, newspapers, encyclopedias, dictionaries and reference materials.
