The Ann Arbor Center for Independent Living, established in 1976, is an independent community-based resource center that assists people with disabilities and their families in living full and productive lives. The organization aids disabled individuals and their families in obtaining appropriate housing, basic living and work skills, remedial education, access to quality health care and personal assistance, workplace accommodations, employment opportunities, and transportation through different programs. It holds an annual Walk and Roll Expo to raise funds for its youth services programs. The Ann Arbor Center for Independent Living is located in Ann Arbor, Mich.
