Founded in 1957, The Arc of Anchorage is a private, nonprofit organization that provides medical care services for individuals with developmental disabilities. It maintains a staff of more than 250 professionals who serve over 450 individuals and families. The organization offers therapeutic treatments for the victims of drug and substance abuse. The Arc of Anchorage provides mental health assessment, case management, nutritional counseling and foster care services for children and adults.
