The ARC of Martin County is a nonprofit organization that assists individuals with autism, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, and other related mental and developmental disabilities. It offers a range of residential, vocational, educational, behavioral and health care services. Established in 1956, the ARC of Martin County provides support and assistance to more than 250 children and adults with disabilities. It employs over 80 health care, educational and other related professionals. The organization offers a range of children's services, such as summer camps, community inclusion programs, fun Friday and alternative behavioral learning environment programs. n addition, it offers adult day training, supported employment and living, residential services, and vocational and community participation programs.It operates several nursing homes for adults and children with developmental disabilities. It offers assistance with household tasks, finances, health and medical care, transportation, personal care and recreational activities. The ARC of Martin County is located in Stuart, Fla.
