Archdiocese of Santa Fe was established in 1875, and has its administrative offices in Santa Fe, N.M. It covers an area of more than 60,000-square miles. There are more than 90 parish seats and more than 200 missions throughout this area. Through the Catholic Center it coordinates and integrates the activities of the deaneries, parishes, ministries, movements, agencies, and organizations. In addition to its regular worship, it promotes education through Catholic schools, publishes the Archdiocese monthly newspaper and provides resources and directions to various ministries. Archdiocese of Santa Fe also conducts various pastoral services, such as the child and youth protection program, development programs, financial services, and pastoral outreach.
