COME RIDE A STAR! We give horseback riding lessons and provide Equine Actors who have been cast in roles on several Soap Operas on NBC, Telemundo, Univision channels! They are Champions with a "can do attitude" & Quiet Disposition. We do wedding, sweet sixteen, and quinces photoshoots along with Models looking to get that special shot. Our horses have even done Performance Art Pieces at Museums! We specialize in giving lessons to children and adults on our equine stars teaching them balance, building their confidence and how to comminicate and interact with the horse. Overall, we teach them how to love and care for them! We offer Beginners Basic Horsemanship lessons for ages 5 and up! We specialize in confidence building, balance exercises and how to communicate and interact with the horse as we must learn their language. Adults - if you have always wanted to learn how to ride or just simply want to brush and groom a horse, we can introduce you as well. Even if you have never seen a horse up close! Our horses will accommodate the most apprehensive rider. Advanced beginners / Intermediate riders We continue to work on confidence, a more balanced or centered seat, how to effectively use your aids to communicate and how those aids influence and create a more rounded, supple and collected horse. I have english and western horses available for the more Experienced rider. You can just come out and enjoy some quiet saddle time to yourself. You may ride in our sand arena or in the grassy field under the Big Tree. We trailer some of our horses once a month to the local Equestrian Show at Tropical Park so you can get Show experience and win some ribbons! If you are truely a centered rider you may have an opportunity to ride my Champion Andalusian "Argenta Fawn"! Barrel racing and pole bending are taught and is actually my Specialty. We have set up our huge soft sand arena with new plastic Barrels and finally have our new Performance Cutting horse Cyclone! ) Safety is our #1 concern and all riders must wear helmets and follow the safety rules around horses so that no one gets hurt. Proper attire is encouraged (no shorts or flip flops) please wear closed toed shoes. I have over 35 years experiece in several disciplines. The only requirement is the desire to learn, have fun and enjoy horses. Children gain knowledge and experience in many different horse areas including basic horse care, anatomy, grooming, tacking up, riding, cooling down and bathing, behavior, psychology and communication. Lessons are private one on one sessions so please call to schedule. They typically last 60-80 minutes. We do not stop just because time is up if we are on the edge of a breakthrough. Horses don't wear watches! )-If you own your own horse and wish to take a lesson at your barn I will Travel for a slightly higher fee to include fuel expense only. I can help you spot problem areas between horse and rider and work through them.
