Founded in 1997, the Arizona Agribusiness and Equine Center is an independent high school district. It operates several campuses that offer college preparatory curriculum, programs and courses. The district s educational program includes instruction in English, mathematics, science, history, foreign language and equine studies. It also offers classes in the areas of biotechnology, veterinarian studies, equine science and agriculture-related fields. The Arizona Agribusiness and Equine Center operates Chandler Gilbert Community College, Mesa Community College, Paradise Valley Community College and South Mountain Community College. It is accredited by the North Central Association of Schools and Colleges. The district has a partnership with Maricopa Community Colleges. The Arizona Agribusiness and Equine Center maintains one of its locations in Phoenix.
