Randy Johnson and Curt Schilling were named co-recipients of the World Series Most Valuable Player Award after the Diamondback beat the New York Yankees to win the 2001 World Series. In October of 2002, Randy Johnson won his fourth consecutive NL Cy Young Award and the fifth of his career. The lefty is a unanimous selection after capturing the 'Triple Crown' of pitching, leading the NL in wins, ERA and strikeouts. With its signature swimming pool, air-conditioning and retractable roof, the Diamondbacks Bank One Ballpark has become one of the game's most recognizable landmarks. The club is located in Phoenix.
