Established in 1864, Arizona Historical Society is one of the oldest historical agencies in Arizona. Located in Tempe, Ariz., the society serves as the steward of state and regional history. It is responsible to collect, preserve, interpret and disseminate the history of Arizona, the West and northern Mexico as it pertains to Arizona.
