The Arkansas Center for Health Improvement, also known as ACHI, is an independent health care center. It raises critical health policy issues, advocates health policy changes and communicates recommendations to elected officials, state and federal agencies and other private policy makers. The center is engaged in evidence-based research, data collection, empirical assessment, and quantitative and qualitative analysis. The Arkansas Center for Health Improvement develops health care programs in collaboration with health professionals, policy makers, business leaders, academicians and consumers. It is jointly supported by the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, Arkansas Department of Health and Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield. The Arkansas Center for Health Improvement is located in Little Rock, Ark.
