Arthritis & Osteoporosis Clinic of East Texas is an independent Rheumatology practice in Tyler founded in March 2001. Prior to that time, Dr. William Brelsford practiced Rheumatology and taught at the University of Texas Health System at Tyler for over ten years. H e is a native of Tyler, graduating from Robert E. Lee High School in 1973. Dr. Brelsford also has family ties to Longview with his mother and grandparents both being from the area.
He also practiced rheumatology in Longview for two years prior to joining the UT Health Center at Tyler. dr. Brelsford's educational background is extensive, graduating from SMU-Dallas with a BA, Cum Laude, in Chemistry in 1977, and he obtained his medical degree from U.T. Medical Branch at Galveston in 1981.
