Founded in 1909, Ashley Hall provides education to girls in kindergarten through grade 12. Its academic curriculum includes English, mathematics, history, science and arts. The school offers a range of athletic activities that includes basketball, cross country, sailing, soccer, softball, swimming, volleyball, lacrosse, tennis, and track and field. Additionally, it organizes a variety of extracurricular programs that include drama, honor council and student government. The school has a library media center, which houses more than 14,000 print and electronic materials. Ashley Hall also provides a college counseling program that conducts class meetings and campus tours. The school has an enrollment of more than 600 students and is located in Charleston, S.C.
