Aspire Lionel Wilson College Preparatory Academy

Founded in 2002, Lionel Wilson College Preparatory Academy enrolls more than 500 students in grades 6 through 12. The academy employs over 25 staff members. Its curriculum includes reading, computer technology, English, math, science, social science, foreign language, health education, and visual and performing arts. In addition, Lionel Wilson College Preparatory Academy offers academic counseling, speech therapy and nursing services. The academy maintains a library and science laboratory. It also administers the English Language Learners program. Lionel Wilson College Preparatory Academy is a part of the Oakland Unified School District, which operates several educational facilities. The district is governed by Aspire Public Schools.
