Established in 1918, The Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) is a membership organization which specializes in strengthening commercial construction contractors, improving job site safety and expanding use of cutting edge technologies. It comprises divisions, such as building, federal/heavy construction, highway/transportation, as well as municipal/utilities divisions. The company represents general/specialty contractors and service providers as well as suppliers. AGC also manages topics, such as environment, highway/transportation, construction contracts and construction economics. It is an associate of Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA) and International Erosion Control Association, to name a few.
