CEO and President, Craig Drachman, with two decades of experience in the steel industry, first opened the doors of Associated Steel Fabricators, Inc in 2001. Craig's bloodline in the steel industry runs back four generations to his great-grandfather in the demolition and used steel business. Craig began his journey in steel distribution in 1989 with his dad in New York ; moving to Chicago with British Steel Corp in 1991 and on to Texas in 1993. Taking himself one step further, in 2000 Craig expanded into fabrication as an approved TXDOT sub-contractor. Today, Associated Steel Fabricators ( ASF ) is an aggressive participant at all levels servicing oil field, petrochemical and highway contractors.
