Atlanta MD Weight Loss recognizes that each patient is different and comes with a unique metabolism and health & medical history. Before any strategy is begun whatsoever, Dr. Agbeyegbe conducts an initial, thorough, and careful medical exam and multiple diagnostic tests. These include body composition analysis, complete metabolic profile, lipid & cholesterol measurements, complete blood count (testing for anemia), thyroid profile, and urine analysis.Based on those results and mutual agreement, the patient is guided to either a 'natural' or 'accelerated' plan. Natural constitutes conventional medication, and accelerated utilizes our own blend of appetite suppressants, metabolic stimulators, and fat burning medication where needed. For both plans, there is a strong reliance on multi-vitamins and nutrients (which may be depleted when restricting calories) special proprietary shakes (which help alleviate/control hunger) exercise behavior modification and overall lifestyle changes.A target weight for each patient is mutually decided based upon what is appropriate and realistically achievable for that patient.
