Atmos Energy Marketing, LLC (AEM), formerly Woodward Marketing, L.L.C., was founded in 1986 to provide gas supply and management services for small utilities and industrial customers. Woodward Marketing was acquired by Atmos Energy Corporation in April 2001 and became a wholly owned subsidiary of Atmos Energy Holdings, Inc.
