Averill Elementary School provides classes in science, social studies, vocabulary, grammar, art, reading and math. Located in Lansing, Mich., the school s curriculum also includes art, music, communication arts, and health and physical education. The school s library offers resource-based instruction with flexible scheduling that supports the curriculum. The library houses a variety of picture dictionaries, storybooks, puzzles, newspapers, magazines, and fiction and nonfiction books.
