Established in 1965, Aztec Building Systems in Norman, Okla., has completed over 2,300 commercial and industrial design-build projects in 17 states. Total Design-Build Solutions is Aztec s integrated approach to corporate facility development. Under this concept, AZTEC provides a single source for all facility planning, design and construction services, and assumes undivided responsibility for budget, schedule and quality. In the Preliminary Design and Budgeting phase, AZTEC works in partnership with the client to develop a facility concept and performs sufficient preliminary engineering to establish a definitive cost and schedule for the project. A scope work is established and plans are completed in sufficient detail to yield a lump sum price to and definitive project schedule. Design and build services include pre-design services, design-build services, post-construction services and facility services. Projects include the 7,473 square foot Sierra engineering facility, a 22,000 square foot aviation facility for Devon Energy and 11,800 square foot aviation facility for Kerr McGee.
