We had the great good fortune to come across the Babylon while strolling with friends that were showing us their favorite spots in Lowell. We were encouraged through the door by an enthusiastic young sibling of the management and were greeted warmly by the staff who treated us to a "Welcome Tea" which was flavorful and aromatic. We were only looking for a snack, but were thrilled with the falafels, salads and baba ganoush. The place was sparkling clean. The prices were very reasonable and the staff was most friendly and helpful.

My wife and I had been eyeing this place since it opened a few weeks ago, replacing a totally forgettable pizzeria. Well, today was the day and we were really impressed.
We had the fatoosh, a biryani, the falafel appetizer and the baklava. We eat a lot of Middle Eastern food, and the falafel and the baklava from here are officially the best we've ever had. We'll be going back for sure, this place is highly recommended and a welcome addition to the neighborhood.

Twice in the last two weeks I've eaten falafel and stuffed grape leaves here. Both were delicious! The spices differ from what you often find in some other falafel places, but I really like BVabylon, a great addition to downtown Lowell. I'm looking forward to trying the rest of the menu. Prices are reasonable, service was great, the place is sparklingly clean. Nicely done, and welcome to Lowell!

We ate a variety of dishes and shared them. You almost cannot go wrong with any dish. The other great thing about this restaurant is it would be a hit for both meat lovers and vegetarians like our group. Also those of us who try to eat healthy have a lot to choose from without sacrificing deliciousness.
