The center owns and operates the Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children in Wilmington, Del., and several specialty centers in Jacksonville, Orlando and Pensacola, Fla. It has state-of-the-art inpatient and outpatient units, rehabilitation center, pavilions, emergency departments, fully equipped surgical suites, gymnasium, child life pavilion, indoor swimming pool, and a playground. Nemours offers specialized services for various areas, such as asthma, allergies, brain injury, bronchopulmonary dysplasia, burn rehabilitation, developmental disabilities and delays, diabetes, childhood obesity, mental health, rheumatologic disorders, and sickle cell disease.
