The North Shore Fire Department, also known as NSFD, offers fire suppression and prevention services to the Bayside, Brown Deer, Fox Point, Glendale, River Hills, Shorewood and Whitefish Bay communities in Wisconsin. The department provides installation and maintenance solutions for smoke detectors. It operates the North Shore Fire Department Fire Academy, which offers firefighting classes. The department has a fleet of pumpers, ambulances, tankers, utility trucks and cars. It also operates the North Shore Fire/Rescue Foundation, which helps in educating and protecting the lives and property of residents and businesses. The North Shore Fire Department maintains an administration division.
