Be er Hagola Institute was founded in 1979 and is located in Brooklyn, N.Y. The school helps newly arrived youngsters from the former Soviet Union adjust to the American lifestyle and language. It provides education from prekindergarten through grade 12 and offers a wide variety of support programs to facilitate the transition of Hebrew children and their families in America. Its Acculturatin program is specifically designed for children who do not have any knowledge of English language and brings them to the mainstream. Additionally, the school offers an extensive curriculum of subjects that include language, literature, mathematics, science, computer, social science, music, art and physical education. Be er Hagola Institute also offers classes in Hebrew subjects and provides various co-curricular activities.
