The Beavercreek Police Department is the primary law enforcement agency for the City of Beavercreek, Ohio. It is internationally accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies. The department provides services for the prevention of crime, protection of lives and properties, suppression of criminal activity, and apprehension and prosecution of offenders. The Beavercreek Police Department is also responsible for the regulation of noncriminal conduct and preservation of public peace. It maintains administrative, operations, support services and investigations divisions. The Beavercreek Police Department maintains a citizens academy that provides training classes related to laws, firearms instruction, defensive tactics, first aid, patrol procedures and investigations.
