Rochester Mental Health Center provides a wide variety of services and treatment for children with emotional problems and their families. Its services include crisis, psychiatric and mental health evaluation, crisis intervention, medication support, and individual, play, group and family therapy. The mental health center s addiction division serves chemically dependent individuals and offers various services, such as detoxification and evaluations of acute medical problems and other mental health issues. Its psychiatric rehabilitation services are offered to adults more than 18 years of age with psychiatric diagnosis. The center also provides school-based health care programs, and pediatric and child care services. Located in Rochester, N.Y., the metal health center is operated by the Rochester General Hospital. The hospital sponsors a wide variety of childbirth and family, personal enrichment and clinical education programs. It also offers computer and other educational courses.
