My name is Josh Cooley. I am the owner. Billy Stump and I opened the shop back in 2005. We have come a long way. We sat around a lot when we first opened, but one by one the shop grew. We grew mostly by word of mouth. Our customers discovered the simple beauty of a regular barbershop. We have grown to a 5 man operation. We used to only accept appointments, but we recently developed part of our shop for just walk-ins. You can schedule an appointment with Josh, Billy, Drew or Jesse. If appointments are not your style, you can come in and sit with Travis. I can honestly say that a customer can sit in any of our chairs and receive an exceptionally high quality haircut. Our barber education separates us from most of the other options that men have in Chicago. The Belmont Barbershop is located in Chicago's Roscoe Village neighborhood on Belmont just East of Western Avenue. You may call for an appointment or walk-in (see hours below).
