Opened in 1986, Ben Hill Middle School serves students in grades six through eight. Its academic curriculum includes classes in history, physical education, mathematics, science and language arts. The school additionally has reading, geography, business technology, art and Spanish departments. Ben Hill Middle School supports band and orchestra clubs. It also offers a gifted and talented education program. The school has a guidance and counseling department for parents, teachers and students.
