Founded in 1954, Berkshire Elementary School is a part of Baltimore County Public Schools, which operates several elementary, middle and high schools and provides academic education to more than 100,000 students in pre-kindergarten through grade 12. The school enrolls more than 330 students in pre-kindergarten through grade five and offers educational programs in language arts, math, English, science, social studies and physical education. Berkshire Elementary School has a media center that provides access to online research articles, newspapers and encyclopedias, as well as photographs, pictures, charts, maps and reference materials.
