The ministry also provides resources to educate friends, families, congregations and other service providers about developmental disabilities. It provides in-home and center-based services, such as case management, community living, intermediate and short-term care, as well as day care services. The ministry is a recognized service organization of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod (LCMS).
