Bharatha Darshana was founded in Chennai, India in 1988 by its Director Guru Smt. Nagamani Srinivasa Rao, known worldwide as "Mani Akka", sister of legendary Bharathanatyam Guru Padmashri Adyar K Lakshman.
Bharatha Darshana's USA branch is run in Houston, by is Associate Director Soujanya Madhusudan, daughter-in-law of Smt Nagamani and a highly acclaimed and experienced Bharathanatyam Performer, Choreographer and Teacher.
