Founded in 1963, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Tucson provides a variety of services for children and is one of the leading youth service organizations in the United States. Located in Tucson, Ariz., the organization conducts various nationwide fundraising activities. It conducts various luncheons, fashion shows, picnics and campaigns. It administers a community-based mentoring program that serves more than 300 community members every year. Additionally, it supports a school-based mentoring program that includes recreational, health, community and academic activities. Big Brothers Big Sisters of Tucson administers high school and college mentoring programs. The organization provides several volunteer services. It is a part of Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, which is one of the leading mentoring organizations for children in the United States.
