Since 1939, Blackwell Plastics has partnered with original equipment manufacturers and sub-tier suppliers to process engineering-grade resins for industrial applications. The company serves at a variety of stages in a project, including design for manufacturing, engineering, tooling, production and fulfillment. The materials it processes include polypropylene, polyethylene, polycarbonate, nylon 6, urethane and a number of custom compounded materials. L D Blackwell co-founded Blackwell Plastics with his father. Blackwell led the company to become one of the largest custom-injection molding operations in the southern United States. Blackwell Plastics is located in Houston.
