Blood Journal is a journal published bi-monthly by the American Society of Hematology. The dates of issue of the journal are the first and the fifteenth of each month except November when three issues are published. It is printed in the United States and Blood online is published with the assistance of Stanford University Libraries' high wire press and is supported in part by Genentech. A full text online access to all articles is free one year after publication. Non-subscribers may purchase 24-hour access to the full text of any article published in the preceding 12 months through the pay-per-view option on the Blood Web site. Blood is indexed and abstracted by Index Medicus, Excerpta Medica, Science Citation Index, SCISEARCH, Automatic Subject Citation Alert, ISI/BIOMED and BIOSIS. Blood Journal is located in Washington, D.C.
