Blue Ridge Behavioral Healthcare provides mental health, mental retardation and substance abuse services, as well as monitors and evaluates services to ensure their cost effectiveness and applicability. The center has a professional staff of more than 400 employees. It offers a range of services, such as case management, therapeutic, rehabilitation, psychiatric, dialectical behavioral therapy, crisis prevention and intervention services. The center also offers staff training, consumer education, medication monitoring, skills training and consultation services. In addition, it provides individual and group counseling services for adults regarding outpatient drug, alcohol and mental illness.
